I remember a time that I experienced success: I was an exchange student for 6 months in Vancouver, Canada. I studied at a small, charming, and warm school called CSLI (Canadian as a Second Language Institute). In my three lasts months I had the same afternoon class with the same teacher, I liked him so much and I knew he felt the same even though I wasn`t a good student… for two months I used to get late or miss classes and it was getting worse. I admit that a few times it was hangover but most of the time it was laziness! By the end of May (I was going to graduate in June 17th), he called for a serious talk and told me that I should get over this and become the good student that he knew I was! After that I woke up and never missed classes anymore and, of course, always on time. In my graduation, Jesse said so many special things about me (I can show you the video!!!!) and made that moment one of the most emotional things that I`ve ever lived and it wasn`t the last in that school. Every end of the month they do a great graduation party, honoring the best student of each class and of the whole school. So, after one week my graduation, even not being a Csli student anymore, Jesse invited me for the big boat party of June and gave me the medal for the student of the month of my class which was the greatest surprise of my life!!!
Two years ago, I was living in the best city in the world… And the memories still remain!
